- Choose the size that fits the suction line of the compressor.
- Zinc – 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1 1/8”
- Aluminum – 3/4”, 7/8”
- Sand cloth the copper line down to bare copper.
- Separate the two halves with an Allen wrench.
- Put the pieces around the compressor suction line, where it typically remains wet.
- Make sure there are no labels or coatings adhering to the copper line.
- Re-tighten the stainless bolts.
- Protection begins immediately and lasts several years.
- Replace as anode becomes loose from deterioration.
